The Western United States is one of the most diverse areas in the country when it comes to bass fishing. For an angler to excel in the varied conditions in the West he must be able to catch the winning fishing in any conditions; Justin Kerr is one of those anglers.

Since embarking on his professional fishing career in 2003, Kerr has made an indelible mark on not only the Western fishing scene, but also his scope reaches across the country, and the Pacific Ocean.

As a competitor, Kerr has made the most of his early career. Kerr has grabbed 21 top ten finished, qualified for four FLW Stren Series national Championships, three Bassmaster Open National Championships and an FLW Series East/West shootout, and four Western Classics Championships. Kerr also won the 2008 US Open on Lake Mead and captured the FLW Tour 2010 Rookie of the Year. In his first season as a pro, he the WON BASS Southern Division Anglers of the Year crown. His consistent excellence has earned him three invitations to compete on the Bassmaster Tour or Elite Series.

Despite these impressive credentials, Kerr is not just tournament angler. In the summer of 2007 he was a part of a group of western anglers who released the revolutionary video “The Big Bait Posse.” The video received National media coverage in the pages of BASS WEST USA magazine, and BASS, the largest independent media outlet covering the sport of professional bass fishing on location, as well as Big Bait Posse DVD has reached literally hundreds of viewers around the world and the first production run of videos sold out in weeks.
